Taiwanese companies account for the majority of the LED market share

LED lighting, LED backlighting, LED Display, and some professional LEDs for electromechanical products are characterized by rapid growth and large demand. But it also exposed a lot of problems. As far as the hottest LED TVs are concerned, the demand is very strong. From the sales of LED TVs, it is not difficult to draw conclusions. However, due to the unreasonable layout of domestic LED enterprises and imperfect industrial chain, the biggest cake in the whole industry was divided by foreign giants and Taiwanese companies, and domestic enterprises did not eat the biggest cake. The LED backlight market is growing at a very fast rate because LED TVs are developing fast and new products are replacing old ones. Therefore, LED backlight market has good prospects and rapid development. However, because many domestic companies do not meet the technical requirements of TV, the demand for LED lighting has not yet been developed, and it is far less than the demand for backlights. This has led Taiwanese companies to account for the majority of the LED market.

In terms of LED backlighting, it is mainly for consistency requirements. However, LED TV color rendering and reliability are the key points. Consumers choose LED TV mainly to be optimistic about its color performance. At the same time, for LED TV, one LED is broken, the whole TV is lost, and reliability is a hurdle for many domestic companies. Mr. Gong believes that the solution is mainly the improvement of light efficiency, the solution of heat dissipation, the way of phosphor distribution and the development of high reliability materials. Ruifeng breaks through the bottleneck of LED highlighting and high coexistence

Ruifeng's multiple technologies independently research and develop LED quality and the United States and the United States

At this stage, because high-power LED lamps are not very mature in technology, there are still some problems that need to be solved. Take high-power street lamps as examples, such as waterproof, dustproof, UV-resistant, shock-proof, secondary optical processing, color rendering, brightness matching, brightness attenuation, reliability, etc. Street lamps require very high requirements for these parameters. In order to solve these problems and improve the reliability of LEDs, Ruifeng uses its own research and development advantages in the field of materials, using self-developed insulating glue, which improves the yield of the product and reduces the dead light rate. Because the traditional insulating rubber contains epoxy material, the fusion with silica gel is not very good, it is easy to cause some hidden dangers, and the epoxy material has some congenital defects, such as UV resistance, anti-aging ability, easy to change color, etc. These will affect the life of LED products. Ruifeng's insulating glue is developed by itself and does not contain epoxy materials. It does not cause such phenomena. Moreover, Ruifeng's phosphors are also being developed together with upstream suppliers. They do not use weakly acidic phosphors in pursuit of short-term high brightness, resulting in quality hazards. Many of Ruifeng's products are now comparable to the quality of international manufacturers.

The key to high-power LED heat dissipation is in solid crystal technology.

When it comes to LED heat dissipation, Gong said that solid crystal is the key. Ruifeng's high-power and modular products are mainly for indoor lighting, downlights, spotlights and surface light sources. In the heat-dissipation technology, many enterprises' high-power LEDs directly use solder paste to fix crystals. Under the conditions of equipment and material technology unsatisfactory, the use of solder paste can only be said to be a temporary measure, but Ruifeng is Solid crystal has developed a new type of solid crystal glue. The heat dissipation effect is better than the solder paste used in general enterprises. Because the solder paste itself will produce pores during the curing process, and the solder paste is thicker, the heat dissipation effect is not good. The new solid crystal glue developed by Ruifeng itself can be made thin and has better thermal conductivity.

From the packaging materials, it can also be seen that the thermal resistance of the chip substrate material and the solid crystal material becomes the bottleneck of the thermal resistance of the entire high-power LED assembly. Gong also cited the advantages of eutectic flip-chip technology. For high-power LEDs, due to the reduction of overall thermal resistance, the reliability of the entire assembly of high-power LEDs will be substantially improved. For a 40 mil chip, the thermal resistance can be controlled at 1 W/mk. By using a eutectic process and other packages, such as the matching substrate materials, it is also necessary to choose. Then the overall thermal resistance can be controlled within 6W/mk. The advantage of flip chip technology is that it can improve the light extraction efficiency of the wafer and improve the heat dissipation path.
