Two months later, we learned that developer James Laird unveiled Apple AirPort Express's personal key through a large number of dumped read-only memory (ROM) content cracks. This is just two concrete examples of long-term major security breaches, which have caused embarrassment and loss to many people. Security information is threatened, and we naturally have to ask: "If giants like Apple and Sony can't protect the security of their embedded systems, what should I do?"
Ensuring the security of an embedded system can be a daunting task. The first thing to do first is to clearly understand the following basic security issues:
