The new investment projects of the four Taiwan-funded enterprises have all settled in Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone. The four Taiwan-funded enterprises initially invested more than 100 million US dollars, of which TPV Technology Phase I invested 75 million US dollars, mainly engaged in the development and production of flat panel display devices. It is expected to be put into operation in September this year, and the output will reach 3.8 million units next year. It will reach 4.5 million units and will reach a production scale of 6 million units per year thereafter. Sunyang Energy Technology's solar photovoltaic project has an initial investment of 6 million US dollars and a registered capital of 3 million US dollars. It is mainly engaged in the research and development and production of solar modules. After the production, the annual output can reach 86,000 pieces.
Xiamen is one of the first national semiconductor lighting engineering industrialization bases in the country. It has attracted Taiwan's optoelectronic industry giants AUO Co., Ltd., Dongyuan Group, Xinjingyuan Optoelectronics, etc. Currently, one-third of Xiamen's large-scale optoelectronics companies come from In Taiwan, the industrial output value of Taiwan-funded enterprises accounts for 40% of the total industrial output value of Xiamen.
