As public safety requirements continue to rise, video surveillance has become an essential tool in various sectors of society. When it comes to subway monitoring systems, understanding their limitations is crucial. Subways are often targets for terrorist attacks due to the high density of people. High-definition video recording plays a vital role in capturing clear footage after an incident occurs. Subway operations manage terminal devices with priority control, enabling efficient resource sharing. All-IP high-definition cameras are now widely used, simplifying network setup. Each station’s TV monitoring system operates relatively independently, ensuring greater system reliability, availability, and ease of maintenance.
As shown in the figure, Beijing Tianyixuan has introduced the SDI uncompressed high-definition optical transceiver TY-HFS1020 as its core product to address the challenges of high-definition imaging in metro surveillance systems, from macro-level planning to detailed implementation. The TY-HFS1020 allows the transmission of standard 3G/HD/SD-SDI signals over a single fiber over long distances. It features LED indicators that display power, video, and light signal statuses. This 3G/HD/SD-SDI high-definition optical transceiver consists of two units: a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter supports SDI loop output, and it is compatible with SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 295M standards. It supports data rates of 143Mbps, 270Mbps, 1.483Gbps, 1.485Gbps, and 3Gbps. By using SDI matrix transmission, high-definition images can be displayed clearly on screens, meeting the requirements of various industrial applications. It is ideal for use in television live broadcasts, high-definition video conferencing, and high-definition video surveillance, making it a perfect choice for subway HDTV monitoring system design.
