Nowadays, the interconnect function has received more and more attention in the sales of new cars. Renault's large touch screen with its new Espace seems to be a wise move.
Espace's 8.7-inch touchscreen is similar to the 17-inch display on the Tesla Model S sedan, which can be used to control the vehicle's infotainment system and driver assistance.
Renault said that the Espace touchscreen's Portrait mode is the first of its kind, enabling the system to operate closer to the familiar smartphones and tablets.
