System power solution based on MPS chip

The isolated power module can efficiently solve various port interferences, the switch chip converts the voltage required by various systems, and the LDO provides stable and reliable power to the MCU processor. The power module and the chip solution need to complement each other, and each of them can build a good system power supply environment and open a win-win situation at the same time.

In an era of highly developed electronic technology, various products and devices are constantly appearing, and interconnection between devices and devices is also indispensable. Due to the difference in ground potential between different devices, directly interconnecting the devices will have a ground circulation between the ground lines, thus affecting the normal communication of the interfaces. Taking CAN-bus as an example, there are more and more CAN-bus networks, and the possibility of large ground potential difference, high common mode voltage, and strong electromagnetic radiation for CAN-bus long-distance applications is greatly increased. How to design a suitable system power supply? In addition to the need for high-efficiency and easy-to-design non-isolated DC-DC power supplies, the current miniaturized product design also places great demands on space volume. In order to save customers more space, MPS has introduced modules with inductors and diodes. Only need 3*5mm PCB space to realize 3A current output capability, only two voltage divider resistors are needed in the periphery, and input and output capacitors can be added.
