Leddar One offers an efficient six-pin interface that includes a 3.3V UART interface or RS-485. The module uses the Modbus protocol to provide a powerful standard registration-access interface for easy configuration and measurement data acquisition, while also providing an interrupt signal to facilitate low-latency data acquisition. Power and interface signals are integrated into one of the standard six-pin 0.1-inch connectors. The RS-485 interface option, in conjunction with the MODBUS protocol, enables the integration of multiple LeddarOne modules on an RS-485 network.

LeddarOne's expansion module allows Leddar One to be tailored to the needs of a particular application. For example, the module can provide PNP/NPN, 4-20mA and 0-10V outputs according to requirements; RS-485 interface is available for industrial applications such as liquid level detection.
