The VE8950 delivers true 4K @ 30 Hz (4:4:4) audio and video signals, ensuring a visually lossless experience. Leveraging standard Gigabit networks, it significantly reduces latency caused by long-distance transmission. Meanwhile, the VE8900 supports 1080p resolution. As a pioneer in ATEN’s entry into the video over IP market, the VE8900/VE8950 includes a video wall function with an easy-to-use control panel. It is ideal for large-scale multi-screen displays, 1080p or 4K digital signage, and simple IP setup. The daisy-chained configuration requires no software or extra servers, making it perfect for environments like trade shows, airports, campuses, convention centers, and shopping malls.
After setting up a basic point-to-point or more complex multi-point connection via LAN cables, you can extend your video signal without worrying about distance limitations. The built-in image upconverter ensures compatibility with the latest 4K and 1080p displays, automatically adjusting the signal to match the display’s resolution. Easy IP configuration is supported through front-panel buttons and an ID display, allowing users to quickly switch input sources. There's no need for additional servers or software—once logged into any receiving or transmitting device, you can manage your entire AV over IP system using the built-in web-based GUI. No extra hardware or drivers are required.
Daisy chaining allows multiple displays to be connected using just one port, offering a flexible and scalable setup. The lightweight design ensures minimal latency, delivering high-quality, lossless images up to 1080p @ 60 Hz (VE8900) or 4K @ 30 Hz (VE8950). Equipped with the exclusive EDID Expertâ„¢, the system automatically selects the optimal EDID settings for smooth boot-up and superior image quality. It also supports video walls with an intuitive web interface for managing layouts. Users can easily switch between different configurations, preview output screens, and drag and drop image sources directly from the web-based visualization tool.
