BMW will cooperate with General Plan to develop fuel cell

After the automotive industry has developed, many auto companies have turned their attention to fuel-powered cars. Many well-known car manufacturers hope to be the first to introduce fuel-powered cars.

Recently, although BMW stated that it is only communicating with GM on various technologies in the future, according to sources, the two are planning to cooperate in the research and development of fuel cells. The two parties are already negotiating and they are likely to sign relevant agreements next year. If the cooperation plan is signed and implemented, then BMW will be able to enjoy the GM-provided hydrogen fuel cells in the future, and BMW will need to share the related costs in the R&D process.

BMW's plan for hydrogen-powered vehicles has a long history. If the bottleneck of fuel cell technology can be solved, the development and sale of hydrogen-powered vehicles will also become just around the corner. However, GM did not make any response to the cooperation plan at the moment, and BMW only expressed technical exchanges with GM.
