The e-Community has announced the launch of a fully integrated embedded display module (EDM) for the ARM-based single board (SBC) - the EDM6070AR-01, an configurable 7-inch LCD touch screen. The versatile embedded EDM is based on the Atmel ARM9 AT91SAM9X35 industrial grade processor.
The EDM6070AR-01 is an all-in-one design that is ideal for human-machine interface (HMI) applications in a variety of embedded control systems, including industrial control terminals, smart meters, medical products, network terminals, and data acquisition and analysis. The panel is integrated with the display and the connector, and a mounting position is reserved for the Mini6935 module based on the ARM microcontroller.
The module also comes with a companion Smart-Home demo application that includes an intelligent LED controller that intuitively and independently adjusts the brightness of each room, an intelligent environment controller that regulates the temperature and humidity of the entire room, and support for playing audio to each room. Streaming media files and managing the intelligent multimedia platform of surveillance cameras.
The EDM6070AR-01 can be directly applied to product integration and software development, and can be quickly and easily used as a finished product to help engineers reduce time-to-market and reduce development costs.
