Rodman & Renshaw analyst Ashok Kumar said in a research report that Steve Jobs is closely involved in the conception and final design of the next-generation iPhone. The next-generation iPhone has a thinner body and larger screen, but the same resolution as the iPhone 4S supports LTE 4G networks. Kumar expects the iPhone 5 to become a classic product due to Jobs' involvement.
Another source revealed that the iPhone 5 will be a "completely redesigned product. This is a major project where Jobs has invested all his energy. Due to limited time, he did not even participate in the iPhone 4S project."
The report pointed out that the iPhone 5 may be launched during the Apple Developers Conference in summer 2012.
