The 1 / 5-inch 2 megapixel image sensor can meet the growing demand for taking photos and videos of smartphone main cameras and front cameras in the mobile phone market. The 1.75-micron pixel of this sensor uses the latest ApTIna â„¢ A-Pix â„¢ technology, which can bring better performance and stronger low light sensitivity. When used as a main camera element, the newly introduced sensor provides excellent image capture performance similar to DSC, including a shorter delay time (interval between each photo) and better overall picture quality. When used as a front camera element of a mobile phone, the sensor can shoot 720p / 30fps high-definition video, bringing users a better video chat experience. MT9D015 is a cost-effective, compact sensor solution that can meet the low vertical height requirements of camera integrators and is suitable for thinner mobile phone models.


The 2-megapixel MT9D015 can provide a set of advanced features that enhance mobile phone camera applications without occupying the functions of the integrator processor. The 1.75-micron pixel of this sensor uses the latest generation of ApTIna A-Pix technology, bringing a 2 million pixel sensor with excellent dynamic range and high sensitivity to the market. The sensor supports 30 frames per second full-resolution photography, the interval between pictures is shorter, and can also use 720p resolution processor technology for video shooting. Easy recording of 720p / 30fps format video through high-quality magnification technology can capture panoramic high-definition video when used as the main camera, and provide a better video chat experience when used as a front camera. Designers can use the single-lens MIPI® (CSI-2) compatible with a variety of image processors. The sensor's one-time programmable memory can store camera modules and lens correction information. The architecture of the sensor can provide important ISP functions such as dead pixel correction, magnification and lens correction, and can also use the back-end processor to continuously improve the performance of the 2MP 720p module solution.
