The total investment of Philips exceeds 700 million yuan LED project settled in Hunan Tianyi

On July 11, the Philips LED lighting production base with a total investment of more than RMB 700 million was officially contracted to settle in the Tianyi Demonstration Zone in Xiangtan. Yang Guang, deputy mayor of Xiangtan, attended the signing ceremony.

This project is the first LED lighting production base invested by Philips in Hunan, and the first Fortune 500 company introduced by Tianyi Demonstration Zone. According to reports, this project is jointly invested by Philips Group and Hunan Jiguang Technology Co., Ltd. The total investment is planned to be more than RMB 700 million. Hunan Jiguang Philips LED joint production base including Philips LED lighting and medical equipment production will be built. The project will be implemented in three phases. After being fully completed and put into production, the annual production and sales revenue will reach 2.8 billion yuan. The first phase of this contracted production project has a total investment of 200 million yuan and a land area of ​​100 mu. It will build 4 production lines with an annual output of 10,000 LED lamps.

The person in charge of the Tianyi Demonstration Zone promised that it will give full play to the advantages of the two-type demonstration area and provide the most favorable policies, the most relaxed environment and the most efficient services for the project construction, striving to achieve mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation between the two parties.

Yang Guang said that Xiangtan City is the forefront of the national "two-type" society construction, and is also the pilot city for semiconductor lighting application projects in the "Ten Cities, Ten Thousand Cities."
