The collected data is then transmitted via 4G networks to the cloud for real-time monitoring and management of shipments. Zhang Wanrong, the director of the Department of Electronic Engineering at Nantai University of Science and Technology, explained that this tape-based sensor eliminates the need for additional procedures in the logistics workflow. Staff can continue working in their usual manner while still gaining valuable insights into the condition of the packages. By integrating low-power technology, NFC, and wireless communication, logistics operators can now track a large volume of goods efficiently and effectively. This system not only enhances the security of delivered packages but also opens up new possibilities for value-added services. In the future, it could be used in warehousing operations for managing sensitive documents, encrypted storage, or even enterprise data sealing. With its simplicity and effectiveness, this innovation has the potential to transform how logistics companies monitor and protect their shipments.
