Macau Christmas Lights in 2007
Macau Christmas lights lit up on the evening of the 6th. Under the illumination of the silver Christmas lights, the small town is dazzling and full of joy.
This year, the theme of the Christmas lights in Macau is the snow of silver. In order to create a silver-white Christmas, the city has 11 large-scale lighting fixtures and Christmas trees, 200 Santa Clauses and snowman lights, and main streets. The 2,000-meter ice bar lights and more than 1,000 snow-covered lights on the lamppost make the small town after the night look even more charming.
In the Civil Affairs Department, the Post Office, the Tourism Bureau, and the Renci Hall Building, there are a number of large-scale plazas with different shapes and dazzling lights. They echo with the Christmas tree, Santa Claus, snowman, snowflake lights and so on. A large number of tourists, residents appreciate and take pictures.
The Christmas lighting arranged by the Civil Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government will cost more than 3 million patacas. The lighting period will last until January 4th.
