Apple today won a patent related to eye tracking technology, which means that the next generation of iPhone may have built-in software to track eyeballs.
Apple filed a patent application in September 2012, and the US Patent and Trademark Office has approved the patent. According to Apple's introduction, the technology can delay the execution of the display operation according to the user's line of sight, and can also change the user interface to generate and execute related information. For example, if a user makes a spelling mistake and the eye is looking at the wrong word, the system will automatically correct it; if the device finds that the user's line of sight is not gazing at the wrong word, the system will delay the correction.
